This year the Zone has themed activities for the weekend. Saturday is "Recycle Saturday" and Sunday is "Puppet Sunday." Hands-on art activities abound with opportunities to glue together a sculpture, use tools to create designs and books with paper, make a pinwheel, or learn about different cultures. Sunday there will be puppet play galore and an opportunity to make them out of a variety of materials. Visit the large Jr. Vendor Booth Tent showcasing up and coming talented artists, aged 9-16. Thanks to the Corvallis Police Department Auxiliary for bringing an activity sharing the insides of a CPD patrol cars.Family Rest Area -- Relax while nursing or diapering. Tent provided by the Breastfeeding Coalition of Benton County. Next to the First Aid Tent and Playground. Simple FIRST AID provided by the Corvallis Mountain Rescue Unit. REFRESHMENTS: Benton Habitat for Humanity offers coffee drinks and goodies and Boy Scout Troop 325 brings back snocones and cotton candy in the Zone Area.
