Gumbo:
An American sound that brings The SubDudes to mind. Gumbo draws from the heart of vintage music, reflecting the excellent songwriting of an era gone by in new expressions of the same spirit and energy. With thoughtful, irreverent and sometimes surprising instrumentation, Gumbo weaves both subtle and distinct phrasing into Sid Beam's beautiful adventures in songwriting.

Jacob Merlin Band:
"With a mix of Memphis and Nawlins running over a patina of soul show band, Merlin has a big dose of Preservation Hall mixed into his personal soul but it's simmered with a whole lot of other stuff to keep this on the far side of old timey." Midwest Records (Chicago, IL)

Rootdown:
Rootdown is a well-developed musical culture stretching back to the early days of Bob Marley through the years of Sublime and into today with sounds like Pepper and Slightly Stoopid. Think Beastie Boys meets Beach Boys.

Silent Comedy:
Brothers Josh and Jeremiah Zimmerman founded this indie band in 2005 as an offshoot of another band they were in. Since then Silent Comedy has become a force of its own in the So. Cal area. The vaudeville-esque asthetic of their music combines acoustic-roots music with updated lyrics and a few borrowed instruments from modern rock n' roll, such as the electric guitar and keyboard.
